Unit 9 - Colonial Life
People in the 13 colonies produced a wide variety of goods and developed thriving trade routes. The 13 colonies had big cities, small towns, and farms of all sizes. Going to school, attending religious services, and reading for news and entertainment were important parts of everyday life in the colonies. During the 1700s, slavery expanded rapidly in the English Colonies, especially in the South.
