On the last field trip, my class and I looked at colonial life. This is when I used my power. We were learning how to make yarn. The lady was telling us the instructions for it, when I realized that I did not want to listen. Even though I knew how to knit, I didn’t know how to make yarn. In the end, I had the lady help me with the beginning on how to make yarn.
Now I realize, that, these field trips have taught me more than what each dinosaur eats, or what each instrument sounded like. But the life lessons we don’t always learn in a classroom. And if someone said that wasn’t true, they were wrong. Sometimes it is a bit boring, but in the long run, it helped me a LOT!
